Our Program

The STEAM Academy is an innovative and exciting program that uses Indiana preschool and kindergarten readiness standards. It is a hands-on learning environment for infants through 5-year-old preschoolers focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. We excite, encourage, educate, entertain, and engage young minds with interactive learning and creative thinking. Our facility is equipped with a large variety of STEM and play-based toys and Music, Art, and STEM core curriculum materials.

Essential expectations for all staff:

  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner of excellence, while infusing the love of Christ into interaction with children, colleagues, families, and the local community.
  • Comply with program components, policies, and guidelines for the purpose of maintaining compliance with Paths to Quality and Registered Ministry standards.
  • Participate in workshops, meetings, community events, etc. to obtain a minimum of 20 training hours annually to meet Paths to Quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with other staff and leadership for planning and assessment purposes.
  • Monitor child behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and positive environment. Use appropriate behavior guidelines and problem-solving techniques with children as provided in the company discipline policy
